Are you tired of fumbling with the factory bolt release to get the bolt to close and wish you could just release the bolt using one hand? You can with the Volquartsen Automatic Bolt Release. This is a drop-in part that is easy to install. Just pull back slightly on the bolt and the bolt will automatically release. Available in stainless or black finish.
Note: The bolt release is held in place by two pins with one of these pins being the magazine release pin. Since the magazine release pin must be removed to install the bolt release, most shooters also install the Volquartsen Extended Magazine release when they install the Volquartsen Automatic Bolt Release.

A++ - If you own a 10/22, you NEED this item. Works effortlessly. Installation was a snap! 5 minutes max! Buying the extended magazine release is strongly recommended, when getting this. They will install at the same time, with no extra effort

Nice add on to the 10/22. No more using both of my hands to unlock the bolt. Not too hard to install, even for someone inexperienced with the 10/22.

This part is a must have, if your going to get this get the extended mag release @ the same time installation is easy! If you need any help go to 10/22 help web site these guys are great they tell and show you how to install al aftermarket parts Rimfire sports i am glad i found you! prices and service good.

This product is amazing. One of the best mods possible for the 10/22. Extremely easy to install. Get the Extended Mag Release with this. You will thank yourself! Unbelievably quick shipping. I ordered on a Friday night and received this on Monday. TOP NOTCH Company!!

Money well spent. Ruger should make this a standard feature for the 10/22. What could be more fool-proof than simply pulling back on the bolt and letting it go. Buy this thing!

The product worked as described. Simply pulling back on the charging handle is much handier than messing around with that funky button. The installation was a snap; all I did was look at the original bolt release, and simple replaced it with this new auto bolt release, and in minutes my 10/22 had a great modification. Easy enough for the beginner, and handy enough to spend the 10 bucks. A solid part. Great product, great price.

Easy to install. Works great. I can now lock the bolt open and release the bolt with just one hand. Really improves the gun...I LOVE IT!

Amazing product, works perfectly. Very easy to install, dont be afraid, i never even took down the rifle before this. After i did the mag release and extractor, also highly recommended. volquartsen is a great product.

This is an excellent product, it does exactly what it is designed to do. The bolt release and the extended mag release are the first 2 modifications I would recommend to ALL 10/22 owners. They function flawlessly, do not interfere with the design of the gun, and are very easy to install. Anything that is designed by volquartzen is absolutly top notch, and rimfire sports excells in customer service and quick shipping. They make an outstanding team, and that is great for shooters.
