11/07/2018 I consider this to be the best value in aftermarket barrels. Easily and consistently produces groups of 1/2" or smaller at 50 yards.
09/20/2019 I received this barrel (18" bull, non-fluted, stainless) yesterday. That was under four days from order to receipt, which was great for free shipping! I ran through GM's 200 round break in procedure using CCI Standard Velocity, and cleaning it several times as specified. Then I switched to SK Pistol match. Most five shot groups are now less than 1/2" at 50 yards. I was shooting from the bench, of course, and with the Ruger BX trigger and wind perhaps 5mph peak gusts. I got similar results with some SK Rifle Match I also tried. I bought this barrel on the advice of a trusted friend, after he had lent me several other GM barrels--16" and 20" fluted SS bull models, and a running boar example. All of those performed very much in line with this one, so I can say that GM's consistency is excellent too.
