The Stainless Barreled Action is where it all begins for many of Volquartsen's rimfire rifles. This barreled action has the right balance for offhand shooting and is as steady as can be from the bench. It starts with Volquartsen's CNC-machined stainless steel receiver. This receiver features an integral Picatinny rail and is threaded to accept the I-Fluted stainless steel barrel. The stainless steel receiver helps achieve that delicate balance that shooters are always looking for. It features all CNC-machined and wire-EDM components as Volquartsen feels this is essential in building the best semi-auto rimfire rifle available. The CNC-machined bolt includes a titanium round firing pin, tuned extractor and are black nitride coated for improved performance and function. The stainless barrel is threaded 1/2 × 28 and fitted with a Forward Blow Compensator to give it that added touch - both in terms of looks and performance. Volquartsen's TG2000 trigger gives the shooter a crisp, clean 2lb trigger pull. It is set up to allow for pinpoint accuracy off a bench but still be a safe, reliable trigger in the field. It has always been Volquartsen's goal to achieve bolt action accuracy from a semi-auto and this begins with the barrel. Volquartsen stainless steel barrels feature match bore and chamber tolerances. These dimensions are proprietary to Volquartsen and have evolved from over 25 years of testing. Digital gauging equipment ensures that each barrel meets Volquartsen's stringent criteria. The IF-5 is the total package. It is what every shooter is looking for - lightweight, great balance and most of all incredible accuracy. The I-Fluting increases surface area, reduces weight and adds rigidity to the barrel more than any other fluting design offered by Volquartsen. This means maximum heat dissipation and unbelievable accuracy all from a barrel that is 12 oz lighter than a bull barrel.

Federal law requires that firearms be shipped directly to a dealer with a Federal Firearms License (FFL). It is your responsibility to make arrangements with a dealer with an FFL to accept delivery of the firearm for you. Before we can ship the firearm, your dealer must send us a copy of their FFL. Dealers can fax a signed copy of their FFL to 1-888-622-2240 or they can email it to support@rimfiresports.com, whichever is easier for them. Firearms cannot be shipped outside of the United States.

Orders for firearms will not be processed until we receive a signed copy of a FFL from a dealer that you have selected. Please make sure that your dealer sends us a copy of their FFL promptly as orders for firearms are processed in the order the FFLs are received, not in the order the orders are placed. Please have the dealer indicate who the FFL is being sent for. We cannot match a FFL to an order unless the dealer has indicated either the customer's name or the order number with the FFL. A copy of a FFL can only be used with one order. This ensures that we have the correct dealer and that the dealer has agreed to accept the transfer.
