The Volquartsen THM Tension Barrel consists of a special taper honed match barrel and chamber that sets a new standard in .22 L.R. accuracy and a shortened tension sleeve for increased rigidity. The Volquartsen THM Tension Barrel is available in the carbon fiber model as well as the "all metal" model available in Black and Silver. For no charge you can also have the ends (the stainless steel ends of the barrel at the muzzle and next to the receiver) finished in a black matte finish.

The Volquartsen THM Tension Barrel is 16.5" in length, .920" in diameter, and weighs only 23oz and comes drilled and tapped to accept the Volquartsen Barrel Mount (Item #VC10BM).

The Volquartsen 32 hole compensator is available as an option on any THM barrel for an additional $61.95. The forward blow compensator is also available as an option.

Reviewer: awiltse1@charter.net     01/13/2014 This barrel is very impressive! Fit and finish is perfect, not a scratch or blemish anywhere on it. I read up on a lot of different ones but for the money. this had everything the reviews I read stressed. Rimfire had it shipped priority 2nd day. Before I could ask for a tracking number it was on its way to me. I would recommend this product all day long. Note make sure to line up the extractor cut properly. Take not how your old barrel lines up before removing it.

11/02/2009 I have this barrel in .17 HM2 and it routinely has 1/2" groups at 100yds. I do recommend the .17 bolt assembly. Nothing is better!!!

07/20/2002 What a super barrel!! It turned my 10/22 into a tack driver at 50 yds. I really like the carbon fiber design in my gray stock. Thanks for a great barrel!

03/23/2011 This barrel made a good shooting 10/22 into a tack driver, 6 shot 1/2" groups @ 50 yards. Looks as good as it shoots.
